Selected Projects and Partnerships
Ongoing – Since 2007: Professional graphic recorder/ graphic facilitator. Attends meetings and conferences and visually captures content for innovative organizations.
2013: Conceived and executed a visual story map centerfold and comic strip profiles for the annual report of the Women’s Foundation of California (San Francisco).
Ongoing – since 2012: Provides live illustration for advertising agencies during pitches to prospective clients. Clients: Venables-Bell and Partners (San Francisco), Freeman XT (San Francisco), InVision Communications (Walnut Creek, CA), and others.
Ongoing – Since 2012: Network associate with ImageThink (Brooklyn). Provides graphic recording on assignment at corporate conferences and events.
2013: Performed live sketch-noting on iPad at two-day Business Model Generation Workshop with Zurich-based Business Model Foundry, in Toronto.
Ongoing – since 2012: Created series of whiteboard animation “explainer” videos from storyboard to final production for financial services company, Financial Engines.
2013: Created drawings for animation using iPad for a series of ten training videos for Ocean Beach Productions. Client: Learn Up.
2011: Google: Illustrated a series of workplace story comic strips for in-house guidebook to Google’s sales practices and principles.
2010: “TNDC Celebrity Pool Toss”: Developed logo and collateral materials for fundraiser and silly San Francisco institution.
Present – since 2010: Created company brand and packaging for health product, Aromax.
2006: “Froggie Went A’Courtin’,” Selected finalist in design competition for sculptural play environment at Children’s Fairyland, City of Oakland, California. Assembled a multi-disciplined group of artists and builders; managed group conceptualization, design iteration and model development.
1989–2011: “Troubletown.” Nationally-syndicated comic strip (see below for publication list).
2011: “Drinking and Inking.” A live streaming comedy webcast featuring Lloyd Dangle drawing cartoons.
2009-2011: “Lloyd Dangle’s Sly and Snide Slideshow.” Performed a touring comedy slideshow that appeared in Chicago, New York, Oakland, Portland, San Francisco, Seattle, Tucson, and for the Western Regional Conference of the Association of Alternative Newsweeklies, 2010.
1998–2010: Airborne Health Products. Creator of company brand, packaging, and advertising for world’s number-one selling cold remedy
